Course overview

With the high-value, complex transactions that are often involved in this sector, it is critical to understand the VAT rules and regulations. This course will help you achieve a comprehensive understanding of VAT on land, property and construction.

It highlights the many potential pitfalls that can be avoided if proper consideration is given to the VAT implications. The course will demonstrate when particular transactions should be treated as exempt and when they should be zero, reduced or standard rated. It also covers the reverse charge for construction services - explaining who it applies to, when it should be applied and how it impacts your business.

Attending will help you avoid costly errors that can easily occur if the rules are not followed - using interesting examples and scenarios throughout to reinforce the knowledge gained.
