Course overview

The UK Data (Use and Access) Bill is part of the government's ongoing data reform agenda, aiming to modernise data regulation. The Bill covers eight areas and this online course focuses on the four that affect all businesses...

  1. Data Protection – changes to handling personal data
  2. Privacy and Electronic Communications – changes to cookies/websites
  3. Access to Customer Data and Business Data – what this could mean for businesses
  4. Other changes regarding the use/access to data – e.g. data standards in health and social care; copyright and AI; data dictionary

This practical, business-focused session breaks down what the Bill means for your handling of personal data and your websites, highlighting key differences from existing legislation.

The course clarifies the legal changes and, more importantly, the tangible impact on how organisations manage, share, and innovate with data.
