Today is the first snapshot date for Gender Pay Gap Reporting

Posted on 5 April 2017SharePrint

Private and voluntary sector organisations with a workforce over 250 must use today, 5th April, as the first snapshot date for collecting data on the pay of their employees. Public sector organisations should have used 30th March as their snapshot date.

Organisations covered by the Regulations now have up to 4th April 2018 to publish the results of that data analysis on their website and uploaded to a Government web portal. The results must be signed off by a senior executive who can vouch for their accuracy.

Recent surveys have suggested that many employers are still unclear about how to comply with these obligations. Guidance was only published very recently and leaves many queries about various aspects of the Regulations unanswered.
