The Plastic Packaging Tax

3-hour online course

Course prices:

Online: £269 +VAT per person

Course overview

From 1 April 2022 a new tax will be levied on UK businesses that use plastic in their product packaging, whether manufactured in this country or imported from overseas. This will obviously have an impact on a wide variety of sectors and if you are likely to be affected you will need to prepare well in advance to help your business manage the additional costs. There may also be administrative burdens, such as registration, even if you don’t have to pay the new tax.

This brand new 3-hour online training course will help you to fully understand how the tax will work and precisely what you need to do to be fully prepared and avoid potential penalties.

The course will provide real practical advice on applying the new tax and help you avoid the many complicated issues that businesses using plastic packaging are facing. Our expert presenter uses clear examples and illustrations to demonstrate what you need to do to prepare for, administer and report the tax in your business.
