An update for our customers...

Posted on 27 May 2020SharePrint

The team here at UK Training would like to thank you, our customers, for your support and understanding over the past few months. We hope you and your organisation are managing to cope with the continuing challenges.

As you may already know, we have now postponed all classroom courses until the end of July. Having to do this has been extremely difficult and we can't wait to get back into the classroom and continue helping you with your training requirements, hopefully in the not too distant future. I just wanted to update you on our plans and the steps we are taking to ensure that you will be able to receive our quality training in a safe environment.

When will classroom training resume?

We have been working extremely hard to ensure that we have suitable alternatives available for the many courses we have been forced to postpone. We are pleased that most of the affected delegates are now booked onto these alternatives and very few people will be unable to receive the training they had planned.

We are doing everything we can to enable us to resume face to face training in time for our autumn schedule, which starts in mid-September. The safety of both our customers and presenters is paramount and we are already working closely with our venues to guarantee they are complying with the latest guidance and have all the appropriate safety measures in place.

You can view the current autumn schedule here. If you have any questions about a course or anything at all, please do get in touch with us and the team will be happy to help.

What will be available online?

Many people have asked us about the online training options we have. Since mid-March, we have been delivering live online versions of a number of our most popular and topical classroom courses - including a Payroll Update and our Essentials of UK VAT course.

Over the next two months we will be bringing even more of our crucial payroll and VAT training online – you can find details of them here. Looking further ahead, we are also intending to expand our online offering in the autumn period and will keep you updated as this develops.

What about in-house training?

Over recent years, in-house training has become a much bigger part of our business. We have been delighted that this has continued during the lockdown period in an online format. Companies have found this online form of in-house training to be an extremely effective way to keep their staff engaged - developing crucial skills, despite their unusual working situations. One delegate commented "Online delivery worked a lot better for me than I expected - chat and polls kept me focused and in the room".

If you are interested in having any of our courses delivered exclusively online to your organisation, please contact us and we'll be happy to discuss the options.

We'd love to hear from you...

Hopefully as you can see, throughout this our main goal has been to support our affected customers and ensure we are in a strong position to provide an even better and more varied offering when we return to some form of normality.

We would love to hear from you - are there any other training subjects you would be interested in seeing us provide in the future or specific courses you would like to be available online? Please do get in touch with any of your thoughts or suggestions.

In the meantime, the very best wishes from everyone here at UK Training and we look forward to welcoming you back to our training soon – whether that's online or in the classroom.
